Purchased as a 7-bed semi-detached family home in need of thorough modernisation throughout, we saw the immediate potential in this spectacular looking building. After careful consultation with our architect, build and interior design team in how best to utilise and maximise such a vast area, we have chosen to create a high level 10-bed high co-living space without compromising any of the existing structure and features.

The Vision

The key to the success of this project is to capitalise on the magnitude of the property, with its large rooms and high ceilings to create a space that our tenants will thrive in. By providing for both co-living and co-working, tenants will be able to do both comfortably and effectively. For those that don’t need to work from home, the space will still have many features that will have a positive effect on their mental well-being, which is very important to us.

The Plans

Our plan was granted permission in the Change of use from dwelling house (use class C3) to 10 bedroomed house in Multiple Occupation (Sui Generis) together with single story rear extension (kitchen/living room).

In getting the most out of the existing plot, many of the current internal walls remain the same as the layout already has a natural flow to it, another thing that attracted us initially. With an eclectic concept in mind, we will be reflecting the impressiveness of the exterior upon the interior. By using zoning within the studios, we are giving a feeling of even more space to relax, work or study. Every room including the double rooms will include an en-suite and an extra added feature to serve the whole building will be the bike store with the capacity to hold 10 bikes.
