A long, long time ago these were some of the stills taken of the existing shell on the inside alongside a shot of the outside to show that the place needed a lot of love. It had been abandoned for three years and is on such a lovely plot, with some superb houses on the same road so this is where we saw the initial potential. Next we’ll tell the story of what we, eventually, were allowed to “plan to do”.

🔹 “New” Project - PAPPLEWICK 🔹

This is absolutely by no means a “new” project, but it’s the first time we are announcing it on our socials because we are at long last in a place to feel even remotely positive about the progress. So, introducing for the first time… project PAPPLEWICK.

We wish we could tell you we were really excited about how this one has gone and if you’d asked us over 3 years ago we were exactly that, but fast forward to the present and it’s been a pretty rough ride. A painful planning journey and three build teams later, we are now finally in a position where we can at least showcase what it is we’re doing. It’s been our hardest learning curve in our entire property journey, but we are determined to take the positives out of it.

This project sits in our “Flip” strategy lane and so will be sold on as a lovely family home when completed in the summer of 2025, just the four years after acquiring the property..

As always, here’s a little taste of what the building itself looked like when we acquired it and stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks as the transformation has been taking place.

Studio kitchens are going in whilst a few of the little features are starting to show their faces.

Given the size of the property we wanted to try for our first time in a project the individual room intercom system to see how effective that is versus the normal doorbell at Arboretum. We also wanted to maintain the spindle staircase look which was present before in this property and we think it’s going to be a nice little feature leading us up to the top floor where all the en-suite rooms will be.
